Kristena is originally from the east coast,
but she considers herself a west coast gal. Since 1979, she has lived
in Portland and Bend, Oregon, Los Angeles, California, Grand Rapids,
Michigan, London, England and New Delhi, India. In 1988 Kristena arrived
in Eugene to attend the University of Oregon. Having traveled most of
her life, she expected that it would only be a four year stay. She didn't
expect to fall so completely in love with the area and community. The
mountains being one hour to the east and the Oregon coast one hour to
the west certainly helped convince her that this was a place she could
call home. 15 years later, Kristena is an active member in her community
and loves living in south Eugene.
Justin Schmick is originally from Colfax,
a small farming community in Eastern Washington. He moved to Olympia,
Washington at the age of nine where he spent his summers sailing on
Puget Sound. In 1994, Justin bought a VW bus and moved to Eugene which
he now considers home. Justin soon became introduced to several outdoor
activities that he currently tries to keep up with in his spare time.
Justin became involved in the real estate industry at the age of 18
as a way to help pay for his college education. After multiple years
of real estate experience, Justin and Kristena have enjoyed being top
producers for the past several years.

business, as that experience is least often recognized but can often

"When we are not working we like to be in the outdoors. With
Eugene located about an hour drive from the heart of the cascades and
a hour drive in the opposite direction will put you on the coast. We
like to take full advantage of this and enjoy the following activities:
-Hiking
-Spending time on the coast.
-Working out
-Kristena is an avid gardener.
-Justin Likes to Surf the Oregon Coast
-We both are going to try Ski Mountaineering in the North Cascades this
summer.
Kristena's philosophy in life is that
karma has a big impact on us in terms of what goes around comes around,
one good deed deserves another and treat others as you want to be treated.
She practices this daily with her interaction with others and nature.
Justin's philosophy in life is that we
should strive for excellence in all that we do. From our spirituality
to the life style choices we make. We may not always have the same abilities,
or blessings through out our lives, so we should take advantage of them
why we still have the opportunity.
